The Haunted Hills of the Seven Sisters - Otoe County NE Real Haunted Places

Along Seven Sisters Road in Otoe County, there is a stretch of landscape where a tragedy took place long ago. Stories say that a man lived in the area with his seven sisters and he had gone mad one night and lured each of them to a different hill, where he hung them. Today, cars inexplicably stall while on the road, or their headlights suddenly become dim once they enter the area. Other reports include screams that have been heard on dark nights.

  • Strange place.

To start this off, I lead a small group of guys who will be soon posting vids of us visiting haunted places around Nebraska, Iowa, etc. and we've scouted a few places out now for a good place to record, which we always do before deciding a place is good to record at. This time, I went with two people who aren't part of the group, my buddies C and G. C was driving in a pretty solid truck so we had no issues navigating the currently slushy road after the blizzard that came through. One of the number one things I'd heard about Seven Sisters were the car problems people would come across, but we didn't get any of that (strangely, the check engine light came on when we started heading there but we'd also just gone on a long trip up north). However, a few strange things did happen on the road... As we entered L Road after mistakenly going on King Road, I thought I could barely make out a woman crying out in the distance, but it was short and the other two didn't hear it. At the latter quarter of the road, we stopped and I got out just to see if anything would happen, and just as I was about to get back in the truck, something lifted my sweatshirt hoodie and drawstrings and I felt a hand graze across my back very lightly. Mind you, there's not any wind blowing when we went down there and G actually saw my hoodie lift up. It was so brief and sudden though, so it's hard to pin it down. Lastly, we got stopped near the end by a small snow bank and decided to head back home, when the driver, C, stopped for a second. He said he heard a quiet whistle, the kind of one that half comes out with a breath when your lips are dry. Overall, we didn't physically see much of anything (aside my hoodie experience) and no car malfunctions. However, this scouting trip had enough actually going on that got the attention of C and G as well, who were joking with me most of the time. I'm going back to record later this year with a bigger team to see if the tales are really true. But I'll say that this left me with a really strange feeling that I didn't get at Skyway Drive-In or Barnard Park, and if there are spirits there, they can mask their presence really well. Can't wait to go back and see if I can't experience the rest of the Seven Sisters Road experience!

  • 7 sisters Road is haunted

My friend shelby and I went to the road by ourselves, I not only caught a video of a woman groaning into my phone, but the back driver side door of her car opened on it's own, the called stalled multiple times, and as we left the area, the car was engulfed in the smell of sulfur.
